About Developing Lives

Developing Lives is a Baltimore-based community organization focused on youth development, healing, mentorship, and community empowerment. This website (developinglivescommunity.org and related subdomains) is operated by Developing Lives.

Tax status & contributions

Developing Lives operates in partnership with a fiscal sponsor that is recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Through this partnership, sponsorships, partnership contributions, and event or program support payments made to Developing Lives may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Funds received are used to operate community programs, the annual Say Her Name walk, mentorship, and related initiatives. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your specific contribution.

Maryland charitable solicitation

Developing Lives operates in the State of Maryland in partnership with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, and we follow Maryland Secretary of State guidance for charitable fundraising. We are happy to discuss our organizational status with prospective partners, sponsors, and donors on request.

Sponsorships, support payments & refunds

Sponsorship and event/program support payments are processed securely by Stripe. By submitting a payment you agree to Stripe’s terms in addition to ours.

All sponsorship and support payments are considered final. If you believe a payment was made in error or you need to request a refund, contact us within 30 days at developinglivesfounder@gmail.com and we’ll review your request in good faith.

Use of this site

The content on this site — text, photography, brand marks, and event materials — is provided for informational purposes about our programs and the Say Her Name walk. You may share and link to this site freely. Please do not use Developing Lives branding to imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without our written permission.

Walk participation

The Say Her Name walk is a free, community-organized event. Registration is requested for planning purposes. Participants attend at their own discretion and are responsible for their own safety, mobility, and the supervision of any minors in their care.
